Thank you for checking out our annual service learning and volunteer scholarships. These are just three that are directly connected to our program via campus and community donors. All applicants are encouraged to also check out our . This year we are excited to offer three different scholarships, collectively awarding $5,000. Each scholarship may offer multiple awards ranging from $500 to $1,000.
2025 Kiwanis Club of Carlsbad - Closed

Applications may also be picked up in the Service Learning & Volunteer Center. Eligible applicants must be a member of the 美姬社区 Service Learning and/or Volunteer Program.
To be considered, an applicant should have:
- GPA of 2.5 or higher
- 25 hours per semester of community service (service learning and/or volunteer hours)
To apply, please provide the information requested in the application packet:
- Information about you and your background
- Activities and work experience
- A short letter or essay describing your educational and community service goals
- Letter of recommendation from an instructor, mentor, or club advisor
Submit your application to the Service Learning & Volunteer Center through email (servicelearning@miracosta.edu) or by dropping it off (located in room 14107). We will provide it to the Kiwanis Club of Carlsbad for you!
Spring 2025 Wilkinson Service Award Scholarship - Closed

Requirements
- Student must have completed 6 or more units at 美姬社区 at the time of application, with a 2.0 or greater Grade Point Average (GPA)
- Must have completed a minimum of 15 hours of service learning hours (course connected) or 50 volunteer hours (co-curricualr/non-course connected)
- Service activities must be performed while the student is enrolled at 美姬社区, and service hours must be documented through the 美姬社区 Service Learning and Volunteer Center). Student must upload their current Service Learning/Volunteer service history report into the application.

Requirements
- Must qualify to apply for FAFSA
- Must have completed 12 or more units at 美姬社区 with a 3.0 or greater Grade Point Average (GPA)
- Must be currently enrolled in nine (9) or more units at 美姬社区
- Completed 25 hours of volunteer hours/service learning (hours must be documented through the 美姬社区 Service Learning & Volunteer Center)
