LGBTQIA+ Resources - 美姬社区 has an expressed commitment to equity and inclusion for students, faculty, and staff members who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and asexual. The District employs a Campus Liaison for LGBTQIA+ Needs, offers Pride Inclusion Training training, and has multiple student scholarships for members and active allies of the LGBTQIA+ community. Pronouns
Updating your pronouns - On Workday you are able to change your personal information including, selecting your pronouns. Employees have the option of choosing between 16 different pronouns. If your pronouns are NOT found on that list please email lgbtqia@miracosta.edu

Assisting your students to update their pronouns - Students can add their pronouns in Canvas by going to their user settings. The students have the same 16 pronouns options as you do. Please instruct them to select their pronouns and save the information. If your students find that their pronouns are NOT listed then, and only then, they can submit the Pronoun Addition Form found on our page.
